Description
This invitational programme is an important part of our pathway to adult cricket for our juniors and will be led by Gagan who worked with us last winter with huge success. Gagan is an ECB Level 3 qualified coach and since last winter, has spent his time during the summer with the Sri Lankan Test team in their recent Test series v England. Gagan loved working with our players last winter & is looking forward to returning for another winter of cricket with us.
This programme will comprise 9 sessions that will commence in early November and continue until Spring 2025. The sessions will cover all areas of player development in small focussed groups with the key focus being the continuous improvement of each player throughout the programme under the guidance of Gagan. We really think this will make a big difference for our player development ready for the start of the 2025 season.
The sessions will be broken down by age group and will be held fortnightly as set out below:
Group 1 Years 9/10/11 – 7 Nov, 21st Nov, 5 Dec, 9 Jan, 23 Jan, 6 Feb, 27 Feb, 13 Mar, 27 Mar
Group 2 Years 6/7/8 – 14 Nov, 28 Nov, 12 Dec, 16 Jan, 30 Jan, 13 Feb, 6 Mar, 20 Mar, 3 Apr
All sessions will be held on Thursday evenings between 18.30 – 20.00 at the indoor sports centre at the Joyce Frankland Academy, Newport.
