JHeald Coaching - What People Say....

Jack and his team have run regular sessions with the Abbey U14 squad through the past couple of seasons which really helped the boys develop their rugby skills. All the boys thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and have benefitted hugely from working with top quality coaches and players.

Ahead of the 2014/15 season Jack is running a 10 week pre-season clinic for the 2014/15 Abbey U15 squad which will give the boys an excellent opportunity to get their fitness and core skills ready ahead of the new season. A couple of weeks in and the boys are enjoying these sessions which, from previous work Jack has done with the squad I know will be hugely beneficial for all the boys.

Throughout my time with London Irish Jack has helped me a lot. To say he put in the hours on the field would be an understatement, with endless amounts of sessions spent running up and down sunbury and richmond. Jack helped me with all aspects of my game including my phsyical fitness, skill set and attitude, aswell as helping me to develop a professional mentality both on and off the field. Without a doubt this has contributed to my achievements so far and I am sure will continue to provide the basis of which i can build on. I would recommend Jack to any aspiring rugby player and can ensure them they will receiving a top level of coaching.

Hugh Fraser
I have been working with Jack since I was 15, and he's really helped me build on and develop my scrum half skills. Jack's coaching without doubt aided my first international age grade selection for Scotland U16, and since then I have played played U18 and U20. Jack also guided me well towards gaining an Elite Development Player contract with Edinburgh;
he's great to work with.

Harry Waye-Branch

My son Harry Waye-Branch is really enjoying the rugby clinic-Thankyou He is coming home tired but full of what he has done. He has at times lacked confidence playing/training rugby at Newbury but you have really helped him. He and I am looking forward to tomorrow.

Simon Worth

A great couple of days and to be honest, much better than what we’ve experienced on some coaching camps, genuine coaching not just babysitting!

Simon Worth, Head Coach, Maidenhead U10s

Alex Tate

In the year that Jack has been coaching Alex a huge amount of improvement has been seen in his all round game, Jack was quick to identify the problem areas in Alex's game and worked hard on these skill sets to a level where four months after coaching began Alex trialed for an EPDG place with a professional club and was selected. Jack has installed confidence in Alex increased maturity in his attitude to the game, Alex always leaves the sessions with a little more knowledge and a smile!

Chris Magowan

Since working with Jack over the past three years I've been very impressed by his professionalism and overall knowledge. His work with our Senior players at London Irish Amateur RFC has constantly driven players to improve and I personally am looking forward to him working as our Attack Coach for the 2012/13 Season.

Chris Hoy

Jack has worked at St Johns Beaumont doing pre season coaching, specialised clinics with the 1stxv and referring matches. He has shown an excellent skills knowledge and boys have always responded very well to his enthusiastic approach. I continue to use Jack whenever I can.

Patrick

Jack has trained Patrick for a number of seasons and I have found him to be patient, knowledgeable, reliable and an inspiration.

With Jack’s help Patrick has developed and improved his game over and above my expectations. Patrick looks forward to training sessions and responds well to Jack’s relaxed and friendly approach.

I have no hesitation in recommending Jack as a top coach for any young rugby player.

Hugh Fraser

Middlesex u.14/15/16, Scottish Exiles u. 17, Scotland under 16, Scotland Regional Academy. Scrum half/Fly Half.

Jack Helped Hugh over a period of 2 yrs with kicking, passing and general skills training.

Hugh's skills and confidence improved massively with his help, and the Scottish coaches couldn't’t tell whether he was right or left handed, his passing was so good.

From Jacks experience with Academy coaching, he was able to teach Hugh the tricks of the trade and really pushed Hugh ahead of his competition in the trials which has helped him get into the Scotland under 16 team and sponsorship for two years from the Scottish Institute of sport.

Jack is very honest and fair in his criticism, and Hugh is very privileged to have had such good coaching.
